My own studio! : I have a BFA with concentration in Interior Design (1975)from the College of Mount Saint Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio where I grew up.

Through an elective ceramics course, I became hooked on clay; worked in it as a hobby for several years, then put it aside for 12 years of Design & Space Planning in South Florida; raising a family and helping with the Orthotic business my husband started. After 12 years in South Florida, we moved business and family to the Asheville area in 1990.

I began classes again at Odyssey studios here in 1998, and have escaped into clay as often as possible since.

My nature is practical to a fault, and I love designing things that are truly useful, unique, beautiful and fun.

With the kids off to college, and less business responsibility at OTS, I am excited about having my own studio space.
Odyssey Studios was and is a treasure trove of learning opportunities and I was so blessed to experience first class instruction with some of the finest potters anywhere.
Completing my own space only 40 feet from the kitchen was the highlight of 2005!
